really nicely done mate. im still too scared that the shiny chrome backing inside might be too "bling" for me E36- which is why i thought about getting the black inside casing instead but also worried about it looking too dull

If anyone could post some piccys of how these look on their E36 please do

sorry for all the panicky thoughts, dont want to fork out the money and then regretting it. these headlights arent cheap!

Hey Mark: How do the ones in the link fit the indicators in. Is it an all in one light or does the indicator cover go over those? Did yours look like those before you fit them? Looking good BTW.

OP I'm in the same boat as you and cant decide if I should get the CCFL kit to retrofit them or just go for the pre-made ones. Also money is an issue. I've been months deliberating what way to go.

Right. I think it ruins the look when the indicators are in the ame piece. Reckon it'll be the CCFL upgrade in the new year for me and the rates are getting so good for stirling....

While we're on the topic of xenons. does anyone know if i can use HID bulbs in my E36 euro ellipsoid headlights - legally. i.e it doesnt blind oncoming traffic. I heard it was ok to use a H1 HID kit for the low beam but only normal halogen for the high.

    cheers, J
