Hi guys, I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but I have used Google extensively and I have used the search funtion here with no decent results...
But basically I have Black door cards, with Black cloth inserts and I would like to attempt to replace the black cloth with Red Stretchy type fake leather stuff...
I've got the door cards off however, and it appears that the Insert part is Bonded on? Is there a way I can remove this without butchering the whole door card?

Any help/advice will be much appricated!

    Cheers, Adam.

    Nobody done this before?

I've seen loads of e36's with the inserts customised... I guess everybody must just pay a re-trimmer silly money am I correct?

I am doing it.If you have a dremmel or something then take the handle off completely and dremmel the bits of plastic holding the insert to the doorcard and then it just pulls off Sometimes it has metal clips holding them on which can be chopped off. When putting them back onto the doorcard you can use little screws I can get pics up when I get home later if you are stuck

Thanks for that!!! Although I removed one of my door cards and I can't see any plastic bits on the rear of the door card, just all smooth wood (or whatever the door card is made from...)

Did you just dremmel randomly lol? Or did your door cards show you where to cut type thing..?

My inserts seem to be bonded / glue on, if I look down the side of the door card between the card itself and the insert it looks like it has some kind of bonding type thing going on..?

    Cheers, Adam.
