Thought long and hard about what i want to do with my car in terms of styling and mods.

Guess it's happend quicker than i would of liked it too as my back box part of the exhaust started to blow this week and WOW was i in for a shock when i took the car to Quick fit and the likes for a qoute, £189 supplied and fitted with 2 year guarantee.

so i bit the bullett and got myself a Scorpion S/S back box with a lifetime guarantee for £243

Will get it on the ramps tomorrow and fit it.
i was looking for a full S/S exhaust with de-cat pipe but couldn't find one
any ideas welcome also quiet fancy one of those S/S manifold systems on e bay £100 or so...anyone bought one
may also get round to removing those nasty lexus light's while i am on the job

Be careful of ebay manifolds, most are for LHD cars and won't fit!

Thanks for the replies, today i got the car in the air to fit the new exhaust
the old one was really knackered and may of been the original (if so it lasted very well considering.)

It took an age to get the old box off so in the end i took the grinder to it and job was done in less than a minute....

Here is the end result,i had to cut a wider hole in the bottom of the bumper to get the twin pipes to fit properly....

Oh and i nearly forgot i managed to find a set of standard light's at my local scrappy and took off those nasty lexus light's (hope this is to everyones approval)they will do untill i get some funds together to buy somthing better....

here are a couple more snaps of the rest of the car,it's pretty dirty as the weather is crap up here just now....

the only bit of rust on the car is the rear arches but i have bought a new pair they just need to be welded on and painted then the car will look great IMO

The scorpion exhaust is not as loud as i thought it was going to be although it has a deeper note and there is a bit of a drone in the car when travelling at a constant speed over 30 but i can live with this

    Looking good mate

Youve definately gone the right route with the back lights!

I had a new rear arch welded in last year, pricy stuff but at least it wont rust again anytime soon

Much better without the chav lights, people won't assume you're a nobba now!!
How do you find the noise, since people have been saying they're loud? I love the burble of a scorpion, even got rid of the middle box on mine. Sounds nice and I never get bored of it.
