Just a quicky car went in for an mot and failed on what looked like a 20p bit of welding on the side skirt so let the garage weld it any way they used half the skirt for there gunky stuff see pics. anyway i heard that bmw actually do the grey paint to bring it up to scratch when i aasked in my local bm garage they didn't know what i was talking about has anyone ever heard of this as i definatly saw it some where it comes with a sorta foam brush to applie the paint. Also does anyone know can i rub down the stuff they put on over the weld to paint back over it sorry for the long intro.

Edit:- the hole was 20p sized not the price lol

I'd get that second area cleaned up and protected and then purchase a second hand set of side skirts which will hide the repairs

Cheers for the suggestion but problem is side skirts would look daft without bumpers and until my economic climate changes cant really afford that

Edit:- misses told me to have a look about and get a general idea of prices
