Found a centre arm rest for my car in a scrap yard £5 (bargain i thought) so while the weather was nice i fitted it today with the help of the how to guide on here very helpful it was too and saved me some time looking around for hidden screws/nuts etc etc.

I am pleased with the results and fills a gap between the 2 front seats i think.
also sorted the pssenger window while i was in the mood (off the runners)

I now have a faultless BMW to run around in and somewhere to rest my arm

Once you get used to it, you'll never want to be without one.

It's true. Every time I drive my mate's 325 (which has no armrest), I have to remind myself not to lean on thin air and plummet towards the passenger seat.

I actually need it to get into the car!
My seat's sides are very high, so i need to lean in, elbow on the armrest, that allows me to get my legs in over the seat sides, and to the pedals, hen drop down straight into the seat.
Without it (and what i've had to do in a few roll caged cars) would be scuba style, sit on the door bars or seat edge, fall backwards, then sort yourself out!
