    HI i have a e36 coupe and dont have side skirts on but recently got some off a 328 but how do i fit them? heard about a template for pilot holes or something not sure anyways any ideas? cheerrzzz

    it needs a whole bunch of little rubber ahem... johnies that push into the drilled holes, and then the clips poke into these. The idea is to stop the clips rubbing and rusting the metal.

    I'd maybe have a little pot of paint ready to touch up the holes.
    Anything would do, as once fitted, you'll never go back anyway.

    The template.. well, the clips can slide about a little, but you do need to get the height correct.
    You can buy the template from BMW, or maybe, you might find someone who has one in their shed somewhere.
