OK here goes i managed to get the rings fitted (very hard to do when you have bannanas for fingers).

1st question do the stock side light bulds need to be taken out??

Got all excited to see my new look headlights and was very very disapointed when i turned the side light's on.

I have brilliant white angel eyes while my headlights are a kind of yellow milky coulour

now you may have worked it out that i am not very clued up with electrics or lighting so any suggestions as how to get my headlights as bright as my angel rings would be good
will post a pic when it gets a bit darker

Cheers Spirit removed the side light bulbs and it looks 1 million times better without them
Not sure what you mean about the shrouds and Hids kit you mention but will look around the net

What sort were they. I've got the LED ones that came with a relay harness, the bonus is my Angels are wired as DRLs so on with ignition (and I have a seperate switch hidden in the cubby hole as well) and they are also wired to the footwell lights so come on with the remote when you unlock.

While doing mine I removed the lenses as well and siliconed the rings round the back of the aperture. Looks awesome

I left my sidelights in but replaced the bulbs with White LEDs which look awesome

I got the CCFL ones i am well chuffed with them but it looks nasty when i turn on the headlights as they are a milky yellow colour.
