    Hi Guys

    I am currently Spraying my baby from boston green to white with a matt black boot, roof and bonnet i need to know if i need to laquer gloss white and matt black, i ask because my housemate thinks i dont need to??

    Can anyone help??!!

    Hello mate
    are you using a 2 pack finish, if so you would need a mat clear coat laquer for the black and a gloss clear coat for the white, as this is what protects the piant overwise you will not be able to polish the car, hope this helps

    2 pack finish? i havent got a clue what to get to be honest, i can just spray i have no idea on paint!

    Ok
    what you need is a celluose 2 pack piant finish, this come in 2 parts, 1st part is the colour which when spayed leaves a mat finish and the second part is the laquer, this is what gives the paint its shine, be very carefully as is highly toxic and should be only use in a enclosed well vented area or by a garage, would advise that you do some home work before untaking this, as it is not as easy as just spaying the paint on the car, the body work needs to be properly prepared, as the paint is very expensive
