Funny how some projects go. Reading the DIYs on changing shocks makes it look like a four hour job. I swore a lot getting the rear springs out, eventually requiring my sons holding down two star pickets to get the buggers out.
Also, a tip for others. When getting your front struts out, never, ever undo the top nut before taking the struts out.
Anyway, what do you think, am I low enough now. First photo is before.
I went a fair bit lower at first and found I had no problems with rubbing or anything, it was just too firm. Raising the locking perches gives a much better ride.
