    Hi can anyone help i have a bmw e36 saloon and i am trying to fit a bodykit to it i managed to fit the front on wich is done spot on im having trouble with the back its not going far in to the arch goes in and stops half way do i have to cut the bumper bar etc its the v-style bumper look at the pics one corner sticks out because its not going in is the bumper bar holding from going in or is the bumper top to long that i have to cut i didnt try anyfin as i dont want to damage these fiberglass

    Fair enough, each to their own.

    Where did you purchase it?? IIRC, Aftermarket Bumpers usually always lead to hacking and chopping of the car.

    I'm not sure what you'll need to do to get that fugly thing to fit, but if you're lucky someone will know specifically what to do.

    I got it of ebay front and back £170 front went on perfect i think the back may need cutting etc but i wanted to know before i do anyfing because i spent alot of time on respraying it i just need to have my back bumber fitted so then i can move on and build a custom boot

    I think that you are going to have to modify the rear bumper a bit along the boot in order for it to fit further back in the arches...

    Try to follow the line of the rear panel with the bumper and do it a little at a time... If you put masking tape on the bumper the paintwork should be OK

    It didnt work i have tried so i just went and collected a new rear bumber thanks

    So you're not putting that as MrLamper said and I agree each to their own but twas deffo "fugly" rear bumper on now afterall ? Good lad What does the front look like can you put a picture up of it please ?

    I take it you didn't offer up the bumper onto the car before spraying it then. Thats the trouble with aftermarket bodykits, unless the bumper was previously on a car, then you won't know how it'll fit.
