Just had coilovers fitted yesterday only dropped about 40mm and im on 17s and when carrying a single passenger in the back its hitting on my rear arch somewhere. Is there any quick fix for this?

is it hitting the arch liner or the actual arch is what you need to know first

if the liner you could remove it but youl get crap everywhere
if its the arch then you could have them rolled to free up space.

other than that you could highten it back up a bit

Cheers mate im not to sure where its hitting yet it didnt sound to painful tho was dark when i went out so il have to look tomorrow.

I would not of thought its hitting the arch probably the liner but if it is the arch how much does it cost to have them rolled and will they need repainting cos they only just been done?

I dont really want to raise it i will just make the people in the back walk if worse comes to worst

not sure on rolling costs these days and if you decide that route tell them about the paint as some wont touch them if painted other than factory. you generaly dont need the paint redoing mate.
if theyve been hitting the arch youl see scrub marks on the sidewalls or the edge of tread.

take the wheel off and look at the liner and youl see where its been scrubbing if its the liner.

mine does it with 2 in the rear and itwas the liner at the bumper end . i just heated it up and pushed it thurther into the bumper to make space

what size tyres you got? both my rears sit under arches with 245/40/17s and dont rub at all and my fronts are slightly level with 225/45/17s on and again no rubbing with a full car. dont think they been rolled or out.

    To do list.

    2.Leather seats-(Done)
    3.M3 front splitter

Got pics of the wheels but none of them fitted on the car with the coilies. Il take some in the morning and put them up because ive got the day off

Heres a pic of the car in the garage awaiting the rears to be fitted. Dont think it will be of any use tho ?
