    Howdy all,

I am looking to respray my bimmer.

Its a '93 e36 Saloon, in Alpine white.

Now... I am looking to keep it Alpine white, but to be honest, the paints a little tatty, so could do with a re-spray.

Any ideas of cost and know of anybody decent priced for a good job?

    Nearer to gloucestershire the better!

    Cheers all!

Blowover or full respray......TBH to get a decent respray it'll be cheaper to get another E36 with paint in mint condition...You looking at anywhere between £1K-£3K....

Paint tatty? broad description, is it just faded?

If it's dings and dents, scrapes and chips the as above.

People have had there cars treated with cutting compound and detailed with great results on "faded" paint.

I have an E36 saloon in Montreal blue, and I wanted to keep it that colour, and got some quotes.

One place wanted £1800 for a blow over.
And another want £1200 JUST to sort out a couple of rust patches, and repaint the front bumper.

After them RIDICULOUS prices, I stopped looking. As Stk said, it'll be cheaper for you to buy a new E36 Saloon with good paint.
