    Want to blend new paint is it rubbing compound? I used T cut but it just left a rock hard residue!

    thnk you need to be careful how soon you touch new paint mate...not totally clued up but i remember sumone telling me that years ago.

    i would leave it well over 48 hours befor neven considering going near it with cutting compound. its lethal stuff. just give it 4 days at normal temps outside and 3 if it hot a full week if its cold even thou the car shouldnt be out in the cold with fresh paint.
    thats if it was done from a can by yourself outside

    if it was done in a spray booth it should be fine to g3 it after 24 hours of warm drying
