My e36 has a fair few paint chips from people opening there doors on it and idoit scratching it out of jealousy (i could understand it if it was a 09 plate)

Does anyone know a rough estimate of how much a respray would cost on my e36 i want to keep it the same colour.
My mini doesn't leak oil anymore it was just marking its territory

I've had various quotes ranging from £1500-£3000 and remember you get what you pay for

...a lot. Well over a grand for a decent job, any place that offers to do it for under a grand will probably do a bodge job.

will have to get the money together and have it done. Would a mop and so professional polish get a lot of the scratches out

post up some pics of the paint defects under a spotlight, Usually if the scratches are deep enough that your nail goes into it its beyond correction by polishing

Its only calendared vinyl that shrinks. If a decent quality cast vinyl is used there should be no problems.

However unless you want graphics or something unusual I would stick with paint.
