Try Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres, have them on my E92 335i - great tyres, low price, low road noise. These replaced Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics which are great tyres as well, original Bridgestone RFTs - the pits. To give you an idea on prices for 255/35/18:

Bridgestone £270 ea Goodyear £170 ea Vredestein £110 ea

Also Goodyear GSD3 as with a lot of tyres get noisy as they wear out

Dazza that link is the one to the can on ebay again mate.

Ive been reading up on the Dynamat stuff which is used in the states...the americans seam to use a differnet brand which is a lot lot cheaper and does the same job...Peal & Seal Just wondering how dto get it shipped and what cost? Dont know if there is anything like this over here..Maybe in Jewsons or something?

Cheers NJ I will look into the Vredestien Tyres mate as I've heard the goodyears arent worth the money.

LOL, my laptop is a hunk a junk too haha!
That is a good piece of info dazza!! I'm glad you sent me this bud. I think I will go the full hog and do the lot It sounds (or not sound ) like its going to help a lot. If your going to do something do it right ae. Ive got a few jobs to do first on the old girl but when they are done then Soundproofing will be my new mission.
Im going to take everything out...trims,seats carpets, dash the lot so its minimum inside and proof the lot. I think I will take photos of the job and maybe do a how to or something.
