    I have just resprayed my kidney grills matt black it looks sweet i love it! and now i want the same effect for the door trim, think is i cant figure out how to remove it and i dont wanna snap it! anyone got any advice that would help me to remove it with minimal damage? pictures would be great!

    thanks mate,

    i was thinking of doing it that way, but i'm convinced i'll end up getting the paint on the car then i may have to take it down the same route you did!

    but i'll give it ago and post up the results at the weekend!

    I changed mine on the E36, but they were dirt cheap, about 20-30 a side, maybe less.

    When i had my E34, i remember someone getting wide black PVC tape and taping over them!

    yea i herd of that but i think youd have to be pretty good with a stanley knife! and i think i'd get a better finish with the paint, i'll just be sure to take my time, make sure i use as much masking tape and paper as i can!!
