This is the other version, it uses the complete program code from the file Furnata posted, with the map section taken from your read.

Your map section passed the checksum test, so wasn't corrupted or damaged, and is exactly the same as whoever made the chip intended.
On top of that was the fueling and RPM changes, and the checksum recreated so there won't be a fault when the ecu checks it for corruption either.

So ... good news and bad news

    Bad news first :
With my own read e36-325i and the maps made from you , the first file you sent me , it will try to start , almost starts but dies instantly.

    Good news:
With the file from Furnata , starts perfect , runs perfect (standing still) and I didn't try to run on road to see how it works. Will do that in 1h or so and let you know if the fueling is better between 3000-4000.
BUT IT STARTS and RUNS !!! this is the big achievement.
Good I said make a new file from Furnata's original.

    THANKYOuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu !

Now , you said you don't want money for the help , so how do I make a donation to the forum ??

I'll be back with road test and 3 clips with the idle speed etc.

The file that i attach is the original file from your car (ECU) so you both use this to tune it propetrly. If you can't write me on PM
    Best regards to both

Thanks for your help, Furnata, It seems the original e36-325.bin had become corrupted in the program code.
The map area was still OK, so it passed the checksum test, and appeared to be fine.

This is why is it all ways good practice to work from an original file!

    For 402 ECUs, i have 027, 098, 949 and 599 versions. I haven't seen an 063 Software version before in the UK.

I'll makes some notes that the stored version is damaged.

Jaxone- if the fueling changes haven't made a difference, i can create a fixed copy of your original file too.

Well , I want to KISS you both but I won't do it cuz don't like kissing boys ))

Well , I am the most HAPPY person here on this forum but I was kinda sad after I drove 15km with the car.

Car was driving (that's most important) but I still had the nose dive and hesitation ... I think it was there all the way from 1000rpm to the red line but I could not feel it as much as I felt it at 3-4k rpm.

So with the last file you made me I could not feel any improvement for the nose driving but the car drove !

Then I was thinking MAF .. need to change MAF and everything should come to place ... then I remembered someone was talking about some spray for cleaning the intake ... was the cheapest and fastest thing to try first so I did it.

With the engine hot , started it and as good as I could I sprayed a can in a small opening between the hose and the throttle body (damn benzine car won't idle without maf). Sprayed the whole can in and took it for a ride and ... WOOOOOOOOOOW

The damn hesitation was GONE ! My car is now pulling ALLLLLLLLLLLL the way to the 7000 rpm (didn't tried over).
So yeah the problem was a dirty throttle body / intake manifold !

I am so glad the car is driving again and now even better than when I bought it.

TheEnd : if you could make me a file with my original mappings (without changing the fueling at 3-4k rpm) and rise the RPM at 7000 then monday I will take it on the dyno to measure the HP again with my original chip (so to say) but with a clean intake !

Thank you both again and Furnata , I did not forgot you either !

I guess I'll have to donate some more $$ to the forum if TheEnd does not wanna be paid.

Here is the car running at idle , no change even with a clean intake now:

And here it is running BEFORE I cleaned the intake (watch the fuel consumption indicator) :

This is with MY "original" software (the one originally in the ecu when I bought it) and the intake before I cleaned it , took this 2 days ago before we started any modifications or anything:

    /// 325i E30 \\\ - Forever thank TheEnd ! Helped me EVERY single time !
