Give this a try if you are interested in learning a little bit more about your car

Don't tell your friends This will make you look like a BMW GOD to them

    First log into www.realoem.com

Enter the last 7 digits of your chassis number here

Once you have pressed enter or the search button ALL of your vehicle details will be listed

    Click on Browse Parts

This is where it starts to get interesting

Here are some of the options that you can then select on

Click on the image for an enlarged version and part numbers

You will notice that ALL prices are displayed in Dollars, No problem...

Highlight and copy the part number you want to know the price of and paste it in here

Great Writeup RYM, Although i already do this, i know loads of people are going to appreciate it even if they dont say thankyou!
None of the ideas expressed above are actually mine. They are told to me by Luthor and Ferdinand, the five inch tall space aliens who live under my desk. In return for these ideas, I have given them permission to eat any dust bunnies they may find under there.

When I go to the dealer I often find the parts are in fact cheaper than advertised on Cooper BMW but it gives you an idea of what you are going to be paying
