Ive recentley bought a fob off ebay as i didnt get one with the car, i cant see any switch on the alarm module? when i open it up there is just a slot to put a flathead screwdriver in and turn? i thought i identified the system as being a 3g mk1 by the look of the siren but now im just confused?

Hi and thanks for the above instructions - Both of my fobs had stopped working within months of each other so I followed these instructions and it worked for one of my fobs.

I tried it again (eeediot!) to see if I could get both fobs working... and now neither do and they wont resync. Grrr... is there some sort of time based rule to recoding? Anyone got any suggestions?

    Thanks

    hi.. thanks for the instructions..
but unfortunately it is not working out for me... switched the switch over and pressed the red key several times... put the switch back to the original position, tried, doesnt work :(
    have 2 keys.. none works...

when opening the case, have you guys seen a small resistor, which can be set up with a screwdriver.. what is that one for?
    any ideas?
