It could work Frank, but I can't really guarantee it. I have read somewhere that it does with the later tape units

    Hi there,

I have looked at the guide above its brilliant. I have an E46 330ci with satnav monitor, its says I have to take this off in order to connect the aux cable to another cable behind the monitor, does anyone know how hard / easy it is to remove the monitor as I have only just got the car and don't want to **** it up.

    Thanks for any help.

You have to remove the trim above it, so start at the glove box end and start unclipping it using a trim removal tool or a flat blade screwdriver wrapped in tape. You will find a couple of screws to undo the unit.
