    Hey all,

here is my simple guide to changing your bonnet badge saftly without marking your paint, so firstly you will need:

    1X flathead screwdriver
1X piece of card (i used a business card)
    1X new bonnet badge

    So then lets get started:

    STEP 1

So first off put your piece of card under the badge, then place the screwdriver onto of the card but under the badge as pictured below, use a little bit of force to the badge and work your way around it to lift it out of place, this may take a couple of trips round the badge to get it off:

    STEP 2
Once the badge is removed it will look like this:

If you want to clean the surface area at this time you can:

    STEP 3
Take the new badge align the pins and apply some pressure to the badge to push it onto the bonnet:

After you have made the badge fit onto the bonnet firmly your all done, remove the sticky cover off the badge and you have just made a worthwhile change:

    thanks

Great timing, I just ordered two spanking new ones to replace the chipped/faded originals, one for bonnet, one for boot

Incidentally, if you want new 88mm ones for bonnet and boot, on eBay there are good ones for under £2 each - thats a freaking steal and can testify they're as good as the originals so not crappy cheap copies.

An old credit card is good to get things started before going at it with the screwdriver.
