Many problems today with fuel efficiency, poor running and performance that are hard to resolve are usually down to fouling injectors. Take a look at the following link. Some may even find the cleaning service of use.

(Apologies to mods if this in the wrong place, Injectors are related to the vast majority of vehicles so I thought this may be the best plac e to put it)

Does anyone know of any injector cleaning services where you can drive in and have the work done the same day?
I just bought a bottle of Forte, still running it through the system but has anyone else used it and got good results?
    cheers

Most garages, can do this, however bear in mind, this is an unusual request for many.

The best thing to do is find a diagnostic/tuning specialist. They will do a better job. For what its worth, on my previous 325i sport, to have all 6 njectors stripped and cleaned cost about £110.

My local garage who maintain my 328i clean out my injectors every other year and fit with o-rings for a very small amount (about an extra £20 or so) when it goes in for routine servicing. This is a lower price for me though as I have used the garage regularly for the past 12 years!

Youre probably better off getting a set from a breaker, getting them cleaned up then you can fit them at your leisure.
Then you can sell off the old ones (cleaned or not) too, to recoup some cash..

or if it's a routine change, clean them up, put them on, and clean up the ones you take off for next timem you'll always have a spare clean set!
