    Good work Stu and great write up so far. Just a quick question for you - Have you had to deal with kerbing on the wheels? If so what did u use to fill the marks and would this show up when polishing the lip? Or is it just a case of sanding as much of the kerb marks out and then polishing the lip?

    Had a few curb marks but nothing major tbh. Just sand them out imo, Like you say any filler will show up when they're polished.

    cheers for giving my hope again stu lol here's some pics of my hard work


    heres when one of them when it is flatted down. i used your tips to use 1200grit hook & loop then start from 400g right through to 2000.





    then bought a buffing wheel like u sugested and used autosol











    nice on

    Thanks Stu, Nice detailed pics of the splined bolts! I have some RC009/010's that I'll be getting stuck into on my week off I'll get some pics up too.

    I'm a machinist by trade, so hopefully polishing the alu won't be as tough as inconel

    Were there any steps between the dish and the radius of the dish on yours? I have on the style 5's, think I'll need to flatten them for a clean look.
