    Hi all,

Due to an ever expanding family, the 330 coupe is no longer cutting it so I've bought an X5.

The previous owner had his own private plate on the car when I bought it. I filled my details in the log book and he has sent this, the MOT and the tax disc off to the DVLA to change ownership and put the vehicle back on the origional reg.

In the meantime though, do I insure the car on its current private plate or on the origional one? How will I know when to change the plates over. I don't want to get pulled by the police for having the wrong reg and no insurance!

    Thanks for your help

    Rob
