It will be hard to get the desired exhaust note similar to a 6 pot as yours is only a 4. However you could consider replacing the system you have for the likes of a Scorpion which will give a much better sound.

With regards to more HP you can try panel air filters, performance exhaust, sports cat replacement or remap but be warned this will set you back more than a few quid and may not deliver the HP you are looking to gain. The best way to satisfy your power needs would be an engine conversion which works out alot cheaper than turbo or supercharger conversions

    Hope this helps

On a serious note though, RYM, how much did your engine transplant (and any other mods which it neccessitated) cost? Can a 6 pot fit in the bay of a 4 cylinder lump?

Any 6 cylinder will fit straight in on the original mounting points, obviously up to spec mounts etc are needed.

As for my conversion... erm ... um ... yeah

If i knew what I know now it could've cost me alot less. It helps if you have the ability to do the swap yourself. That way you save hundreds in labour costs. Final cost??? I've never added it up

Best way is to find a complete donor and just swap the bit's you need.

It pisses me off that people always wish to own a ferrari but have you seen the pussies that drive them? they drive like miss Daisey, why... I'd be in first and second everywhere I went

I think I prefer the noise of the TVR to the ferrari but if somone lined both up and said pick one it would have to be a ferrari... IN WHITE

    Scum, the pair of ya.

Porsche? It's not even.... ach, what's the point?

I tell ya, if BMW made that new M1 and it was a choice between that and any 911, it would be the beemer. NOT a Porsche man!

Nah, my cousin drives a Ferrari 355 and he's a complete madman. My dad visited him in Dubai a couple of months ago and he took him back from the airport at 150 mph!!!!
