    Hi all,
Have just fitted new flywheel and clutch . And am now in a position to get ecu remaped . I wanted to wait as I knew clutch was on the way out. What would be safe max limits with regard BHP and Torque?
What would it do to 0-60 time and max speed?
I live in the Milton Keynes area , could anyone let me know, who are the best guys for the job?
    Many Thanks
    Carl

You have a slightly smaller clutch than the 120d, 228mm compared to 240mm, but still there is about 30-35bhp and 60Nm of torque to be had.

It should take about 1 1/2 seconds off your 0-60, top speed would be somewhere around 135-140mph.

Looks worth doing then . Are all remaps basically the same or is it a case of being careful on who I trust.Any Ideas on who is the best person to do the job?

    Me, maybe !!

I wouldn't say they are all the same, there's a couple of different ways to gain the extra power, and different styles in power delivery.
They can be done smooth and progressive or sharper and more brutal from controlling the torque limits at lower engine speeds.

The maximum BHP would remain the same, just the peak torque can be altered to give a sporty feel, or a more OEM delivery.

Total price would be £295, it'd take about 1-2 hours, and it'll include a full diagnostic scan to make sure everything is healthy.
