    Decent chips start at £300+ for these sort of cars off the top off my head.

    £49 for a new, mapped ECU is too cheap, especially if its proven and reputable.

    Whilst its acceptable that many people will offer discounts and deals, no ECU chips worth the money will be had for that price, so something instantly is telling me is a no no. Stay clear of it is my opinion.

    Stay away mate. These things are usually a waste of time
    Ive heard that some people even send out blank eprom chips

    I can't access Ebay at work but just to be different I'd say that some chips for £50 are ok! Sometimes they are a copy of someone elses work.

    The Viper2 chips cost around that amount of money and are meant to be good.

    However, it is a risky business putting an unknown chip into your car!

    Try giving these guys a call/email http://www.evo-s.co.uk. They do a known chip at a reasonable price.
