    hello i have a E36 318 whit supercharger
    and i have ben reading about water/methanol injection but there is stil somthings i dont understang

    on one site the says that it cools the engine and on another site the says that it gives more BHP which is it or is it both?????

    and is it like NOS that i has to activate it every time i need to use it or is it just running alle the time ?????

    and for last is it worth putting in my car?????

    Both. Lower intake temperatures=more power, assuming the same volume of air
    It will be worthwhile if it can lower your intake temps. I'm pretty sure that in just about every case it will be
    You can trigger it however you want (just like nitrous oxide). Some use WOT (wide open throttle switches) or pressure sensors in the intake. If your using aftermarket engine management or have some time to tinker with some electrical gadgets you can map how much water injection you get on an rpm vs load map.
