    Alright guys,
Have had my E36 323i coupe for close to six months now and love it, but I feel the time has come to make some modifications to squeeze a bit more power out. The most common recommendations I have had so far has been to change my inlet manifold (adding a possible 20bhp??). It also clear a new exhaust system would help (suggestions welcome).
If anyone could tell me if these are my best options or if I should be looking to other areas I’d be real grateful.
Finally if anyone could recommend a quality place in the London area to have any work done that would also be real useful.
    Cheers
    Ed, London

Do a search on 'remap' and see what you think after reading some of the threads.

Fitting a m50 inlet manifold and getting a better exhaust system is a good idea, the 323i system is more restrictive than a 328i one, also a remap will really get you smiling

Yea, like Ronnie says "remap will really get you smiling" i make one here in BG and the client can't stop smiling. If you able to read your original file (possible with Galletto or other OBD reader device) ill try to make you smile too.You will get a really good responce and 10-12% more power

because the 323 is restricted with the small intake manifold and single exhaust off a 320 you wont see any horsepower gains with a remap

get the remap done after you have done at least the M50 manifold

will kwp2000 be ok for this?

I have my 323 running on E85 (85% ethanol) this is approx 104 octane and I would like to advance the ignition timing to improve the power/economy
