    Iv just been looking on the net and on ebay i have seen an electric supercharger by Vortex, has anyone tried them and do they really work

    You'd need an an electric motor with about 10bhp or more to actually get some power back.

    Apart from that, they just get in the way of the air coming in.

    OMG some people will sell anything no they dont work and there not new either they been around years im suprised it hasnt got a dump valve as a freebie when you buy it just to give you that woooooosh sound like them scoobys have

    revs tested one of these on an xr3i when the electric supercharger first came out and it actually lost the car about 8bhp so no they dont work as they are pants lol
