Im no sheep and would love to see different things. Iv only bought my bmw to drift round tracks and the last two have met walls and can imagine my current one will see the same fate. What im saying is, that 2.0 straight 6 im guessing is a lazy engine imo. a 1.9 4 pot would be better. Why waste your money on this said rare car. keep it standard as who knows, it might be worth something. Your car is worth no more than 1k and thats being really really really generous. spending the amount you want to spend to get very little out of it because you dont want a powerfull car and want to keep mpg's, dont waste your money. buy a turbo diesel if you want some powers and keep high mpg's which im doubting your getting from a 2.0 6 pot.

Well have fun! Each to there own.

To be honest I would rather be a sheep. But seriously dude you would come across so many bumps on the road if you go down the turbo route. but since this is a forum we can try and help. You will need the following, a turbo, manifold with the right flange, custom down pipe and exhaust to go with it, oil feed to the turbo then back to the sump, intercooler and piping, uprated injectors, ecu and remap, MAP sensor and boost controller, boost gauge. Thats all I can think of at the moment. good luck. we look forward to seeing it

I no were to get 90% of the things from just little bits and the turbo is in a full kit apart from the manifold which I know the company to get that from so got most of my bits it just the engine bits as I all ready know they don't realy do much for the 320i. And I have already have a diesel 306 1.9d turbo that stage one tunned running 1.5 bar and pull like a horse on steds so ive got my fuel saver car and I would expect u lads to no were im coming from but I no what I want

Yeh these kits are well known for being complete crap.

there is a reson why a good turbo conversion costs around £3-4k fitted.
