Hi names dan and i am a newbie.

Basically i have an e36 316 compact 1.9 petrol engine single cam m sport 115 bhp i think or somewhere around that area.

some people may think im stupid but i want a bit more out of her. last owner has stuck a aftermarket back box on but the whole car feels restricted so a few mates told me ask on a forum?

i want to get more bhp out of her with out doing an engine swap i have that planned in about 2 years when i have done more research on putting a 328 with a m50 manifold in it and when i have more money and the missus finally has a job lol

    thanks for your help

I'm unfamiliar with common modifications for your car but I could only recommend a good panel air filter, if you can improve the cold air flow to the standard box too? A 200 cell high flow sport cat and a remap. I don't know if any rear diffs off other cars would improve your acceleration but its worth looking into

Just remap your car as this will give you the most amount of power and remove the flat spots off the mark
The remap will also get rid of the feeling the car is always towing some think

Don't waste your money on changing any other parts on this car
