, OK, tuning a M51 diesel is a good idea , blanking off the EGR valve will improve part throttle response and I know that the diesel Range Rover 2.5D(BMW engine) SE is 138bhp,268nm standard. Stage 1> 175bhp,325nm. Stage 2> 190bhp,360nm

If you do it A20 RYM then let me know how you get on! Surely bypassing the egr would cause some sort of fault light to come up as it is no longer connected or has that been covered?

I think I may find mine and give it a clean if it looks anything like that then it has to be a good thing Right?

By the way, where is it?

Mt car ran fine with EGR disconnected and no fault lights

I will try a diagnostic scan again to see if any codes have been displayed.

Here's a pic of the EGR valve on my 325tds Touring

ive fitted the egr bypass pipe a sprint box an adjustable wastegate and a tunning box and the car is putting out 236bhp and goes very very well
next im going for a larger turbo a bigger intercooler some race injectors and an uprated pump and should be good for 400bhp
