They are ment to improve throttle responce when excellerating, did think about one for the e60 but with a remap it responded just as good if not better

You would be better with a remap to iron out the niggaly flat spots and give you quicker throttle responce

From what I've heard they make it harder to drive smoothly in traffic as it increases the throttle sensitivity. I cannot see the point in them myself as it doesn't increase performance.

From what iv heard in the past all the sprit booster will do is open the throttle quicker ie when you push the accelerator half way the sprint booster will make the car think its open 3/4. Iv been advised to steer clear of these and instead just put my foot down quicker!ha
As ian said a remap would defiantly be better!

I installed one on my 325ti and it's really good. is does put the throttle down further but to me there's more to it than that.
my car now is a totally different car to drive. when I turn it off the car feels flat and sluggish. but as soon as you turn it to green it's a lot more responsive.

to all people doubting them and saying put your foot down further. try one first and you'll know it's not just about that.
infact I've tried putting my foot down further with it off but it's not the same. the lag is still there.

On my stretch of private road I always do 90mph on the dash before I have to start breaking. but now I can do around 97 because I got up to speed quicker because the lag has gone and the gear changes are a lot quicker.

    seriously. try one!
