I was wondering weather I should tune my car ? I bought my car three months ago and I am not happy with the speed for a bmw i thought it would be a lot faster, so I wanted some help on what my options are?

Firstly to help you out we would benefit from a engine type or model

Its your choice as to whether it is worth tuning a 1.6? Most people will say buy a bigger engined car if you want something faster otherwise you may not be satisfied after a lot of money spent and effort unless you lay down some serious money and look into forced induction.

What do you really want from your car, is it cost effective, how long are you going to keep the car for? Tuning can become a bug and there are lots of paths to go down to get good results or not get much from what the magical tuning companies say you can get from bolt on mods etc.

I heard the gossips talking about the BMW 118i M Sport and the engine being a detuned version of the two-litre Valvetronic powerplant but you may wan to get a full car service before looking at performance factors.
