hottuning do two kits per model a cheaper one that will suit most modders budget and a more expensive line for the more serious member

It all depends on if you are keeping the car. Only go for a cheap set if you own a saxo and sit down maccy d's all night. It doesnt matter how old the car is. I had bilstein on a escort, one hell of a difference, feels such along time ago lol. why so low tho? i have seen cars that are stupidly low and they dont look nice. Have you got steel wheels that you are trying to hide in the arches. seeing as you wanna go that low i would personally go for the more expensive kits and save a fortune in the long run.

    70mm is a huge drop

I'm not sure how low my car is as it is on H&R coilovers

If you want to go lower than 60mm then I believe the only option is to go for coilovers as I don't even think the shortened shocks will be up to handling such a drop

you can check how low is it in your's car like on that photo:

I think I will go for spax, they has been making suspension for the past 50 years, SPAX were the first company to produce on-car adjustable dampers and patented the idea. SPAX became one of only a handful of British manufacturers to be granted the German TUV seal of approval for quality – A tribute to all the hard work put in the factory. So I think that's a good brand.
