Hey everyone Im quite new to bimmerforums.co.uk. I usually use a site called bimmers.no (Norwegian bmw forum) to get all my answers. But since no one there knew about my problem i decided to ask here. So here we go:

So I finally got my scorpion stw-m3 (the rear part only) installed on my 1994 325i. The moment i started the engine i noticed that its tooooo loud. And at normal driving (with barrely touching the gas pedal) it won´t shut up at all - Doesn´t matter what rev your engine is doing. Its just a constant "brrrrr" at low rpm, and super loud at high rpm.
Got pulled over by the police twice already (in one day! - new personal record )

Anyone know what i can do? Or do I have to change the rear part :(? It costs quite alot you see. 428 GBP to be precise.

Btw the only part thats been modified is the scorpion stw-m3 exhaust, everything else is stock and original.

the only option I can think of other than selling it on is to cut open the rear box and add some more stainless steel wool to make it quieter and re weld it (TIG WELD)

The problem I have is that its super loud on low rpm. Doesn´t matter if you push the gas or you lift off. The sound is very deep at low rpm.

Maybe I should just keep it for a while and see how it becomes after a month or two?
