i made a new exhaust system for my 330d estate. i had it rr with the standard system on and it made 166bhp and 220 lbs of tourqe.
new system 182bhp and 295 lbs of tourqe, also did a cheecky 0-60 time and did a 6.5 second

Wow that's an impressive leap Normally non-standard exhausts sap power away.

Have you got any pics of the system?

That torque rise is a bit of a stretch. In fact a 320d should be making more torque than yours was initially - and a standard 330d should be making roughly what you saw after the exhaust was fitted.

HP figure is slightly more believable.

    Perhaps visit another RR?

Yeah 166bhp seems REALLY low for a 330d!? - Is it an old one or something?

also, most importantly, how does the new exhaust sound?

The torque is far too low for a 330d also, has the guy got a 320d.
