Well I'm a couple of hours drive from you but well worth the drive. Price is £265 and you can choose between Eco or performance map

I can recommend this guy, he's very good and the map is individual to your car, rather than the model. I'm very happy with the remap he did on my 530d E60. Lots of torque and slighty better on juice.

    How did it go ?
I have a 2005 E46 320CD M sport and don't know what way to go try find a remap or buy a chip. makes it harder for me is I am on the isle Of wight there ain't no chip tuners over here just fish and chips.
What are the gain's between a remap and a over the counter chip ?
Looking at most on e bay they just alter feul PSI ? As far as I can see

Without starting a debate on these plugin under the boxes, a remap is superior.
We basically adjust certain parameters within the actual vehicles own original software (kind of like a pc update). A plugin box does much like you all ready know and doesn't touch the software at all.
The guy above hasn't actually been in touch with me??
What I can help you with is a Alientech powergate. If you read my forum section you can find out all the info you need on it or give me a call on 07738236577 and we'll have a chat.

Just had a quick look myself for the post i did and can't seem to find it. Give me a call though and I can help you

HI thank's for getting back to me on this being on the island is like being cut off from any help.
i can not even find out much info on my model car being a M sport soft top 320 CD to know what BHP it has now let alone after remap or box.
I was old school motor trade more power meant more boost turn pump up lol know it is not so easy these day's this is what makes me wonder how these so called chip box's can work if all they do is put more fuel in ? does not matter if they dig or analog being on the fuel rail can not see that they can be doing much else ?
So do you know what my model car should be giving out as is and what would it be giving me after one of your map's
    Gord

Your car will be 150bhp and 330Nm torque as standard. With what I have in mind for you will allow you to choose between 3 different maps! I.e your original, an Eco map and then a performance map. The Eco map will give around 35bhp and 65Nm and 6-8mpg gain, the performance map will give a wacking 50bhp and 85Nm and possibly a mpg gain. Again it would be best to call me
