    Hi all!!

So the story continues.. Paid the deposit for a 335i Convertible yesterday! Am so excited that last night was the first of 4 sleepless nights!

Will be collecting the car on Friday, and i can not wait! Will be posting pics up as soon as i get it, although i have a couple of pics taken from my phone, but the quality isnt too great, and the car is quite dirty!

I just wanted to know if it is worth remapping the car. Is it undetectable from voiding the warranty? What sort of BHP will i be getting, MPG, and also performance?

The book says 0-60 in 5.8 secs.. Thought it would have been a little faster than that.

    Kind regards

    Fantastic news.

How old is the car, is it a twin turbo, or a later >2010 single turbo (dual) model ?

The twin-turbo's are very mappable. 360bhp is the typical figure quoted and more torque than an M3. The difference is far greater than the figures would suggest. I had mine put back to standard courtesy of a BMW update and managed 4 days before getting it re-installed.

Hi thanks for replying.. The car is a 2007 model so it has twin turbos.. Why are they changing to a single turbo?

    Kind regards

They have changed to improve emissions I believe. Same power, etc....

As Mark has already stated, it is well worth getting the car remapped, it makes it an even better car all round than it already is!
As your only in London you could always pay me a visit to have the remapped performed. You can call me on 07738 236577 if you want to have a chat.
    regards,
    Darren@APTuning
