Better off with a remap specific to your car, rather than something generic- a fit all solution.

I'm pretty new too.....I know a full remap would be better, but we have to consider the price

A full remap cost itro £300 and this generic plug in is £60.... is a full remap really 5 times better?

    I have found this one:

    BMW Specific MOD

Anybody got any reviews on this baby?

I've had mine remapped at a forum meet by The End tuning he is one of the forum vendors there was a few of us and we got it done for 190 each, the difference is unreal if you organise a meet and get others who want remaps doing he will give discounts worth asking about
    Personally I wouldn't touch a tuning box

OK - we know a full remap is better but is £300

These are £80 (waaaaaaaay cheaper) - has anyone tried these suckers?

Trouble is all they do is bump up the common rail pressure so you wear the HP pump out and clog up the DPF

There is a saying in this life which goes "if it seems too good to be true... it is too good to be true" it will just f*** your engine and suddenly £300 will sound very cheap

You won't find it 5x cheaper if it blows your turbo by over boosting or damages the high pressure pump.

At last - some reasoning, cheers.
