Bought my e46 320d two days ago. I thought there was a buckle/warp on my rear left hand alloy so i removed it yesterday evening, it was actaully cracked.

But while I had the wheel off, I spotted a pipe weeping oil. Its under the rear left wheel arch, i've taken a picture. I'll be taken it to a garage to get fixed but just wanna make sure its's not brake lines before I take it out again.

As your standing facing the rear left wheel arch, the pipe is too the left.

there are only 2 pipe that carry fluids at the rear brake fluid or fuel if it was fuel you would smell it so I would say its most likely to be a brake pipe

Thanks lads. Had it fixed today, it was the brake lines and the pipe was corroded alright. The whole pipe line was replaced, only cost €76 for parts and labour. Safe to drive again.
