Hi guys well at the moment i have a 1997 318 8 valver and its just crap.Anyways a mate of mine told me that a R reg 318iS had failed the mot big time and the owner wanted to sell it so he gave me his number. After abit of talking i got the car off him for 200 quid so i was happy with that for my engine conversion. Before i fit this to my car theres a few things i wanna do to it so here is a list of things i will be doing to it over the next few months

    ECU CHIP/REMAP
    RACE CAM
    BIG BORE THROTTLE BODY
    LIGHTER FLYWHEEL
    POLISH/PORT CYLINDER HEAD
    FULL SCORPION EXHAUST SYSTEM

I think after doing that i think i should have a very quick m44 engine.Any info would be great and please dont say save your money and put a 2.5 etc in as i dont want to have a 6 cylinder as the insurace for me on a 6 cylinder is crazy as im only 22.Thanks

sounds like you've got all the basics covered there mate without going FI there isnt much further you could go!
only other small thing to add to that list would be power pulleys!

but i can highly recomend a supercharger!!

    SUPERCHARGED 318IS
