    hi been told adding a m50 manifold will give better performance??? i own a 525i e39 msport 2001 is this info right??

    The M50 manifold won't fit your car, but on the bright side, you don't have a restrictive manifold anyway so it isn't needed.

    Yep, up to 1998 was the single vanos M52, then came the M52TU double vanos (523/528) restricted again, but the M50 manifold wouldn't fit (M54 330I will though) and finally the M54 engine (525/530) which was full power.

    so if my engines the full fat version what can i do to improve the performance other than a remap/chip thanks

    You could add a bbtb and enlarged asc unit. These compliment the manifold nicely. I can sort the complete kit for you

    ok as im not a mechanic what exactly is a bbtb and asc unit??? and whats involved in fitting it and whats the cost thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok big bore throttle body im lead to believe? but ASC ???
