    now it has been said a million time ,but still i have emailed alpina 527 but no reply, does any one know what itle cost me for the kit for my 328i, i allready have the manifold from my old e36 325i so would be on an exchange , dont need bbtb yet maybe at later date but if you do know the price il be greatful to find out.

    Ring some of the garages on the recommended list on this forum, I have spoken to A1 in Herts who say they have done this conversion.
    Earlier this evening I read on www.unitedbimmer.com that you may get a serious loss of torque at low revs. Do you intend upgrading the throttle barrel when you fit the manifold. I am interested to see how this goes for you, good luck.

    alpina will do the whole lot inc bbtb for £400 plus a bit of post!
    comes with everything you need and will take about 3hours to fit

    I don't think there's a loss of torque, more like it moves peak torque 200RPM up. I have spoken to loads of owners with them and they love the conversion. The 328 runs out of puff at 5k so anything to improve that is a plus.

    Besides, if the manifold is fitted to the lower capacity 325 I don't think it's an issue.

    Finally, you could always change the diff ratio or get a remap.

    He'll fit it for you too for a hundred quid, Essex is where he's at. Gonna let him do mine in a few weeks too.
