I do no what you mean as when my car was a 318is it had twin powerflow system then once i done the 328i conversion i have oem exhaust and that is tucked under and thought that looked funny because i was used to the other system sticking out a bit

Think you need to either stick to oem or get a custom 1 made to the way you like it,pop in to your local custom exhaust place and tell them what you want and see what they say

each to their own, looks like it sticks out more in the photo, on an M sport bumper probably even less, as my back box was knackered was cheaper than OEM.

get a 325 or 330 backbox, get a descent welder and he will cut off and blank one input hole and weld the pipe to the other hole. had this done on a mates car

Hi MikeJD, I'm thinking of doing the same with my 318, do you have any pics or sounds? Are the saloon and coupe exhausts the same? Were there any issue with the fitting? I've currently got a custom exhaust but it's too loud for me so i wanna keep things original.

    Thanks.

Hi this might help mate, I used to own a 318 and I bought a genuine BMW 330ci backbox off ebay and had it fitted to my car, had to have a y piece pipe to connect the twin exhaust to the single pipe..Looked great when fitted exactly like a 330.
