    Hi All

    Just a quick question,
Currently have a single exit exhaust on my 318Ci Msport. Would i be correct in saying a 323 twin exhaust would be a direct fit for twin tails?

My understand is that the 318 has a single pipe to tail as does the 323 but twin exit?

Basically want to stay stock looking but have twin tails (direct OEM exhaust)

Im sure its been done before so let me know part numbers that fit direct

    Thanks in advance

The 316/318 is a single in and single out, the 6 cylinder engines, so from 320 upwards have double pipe in and twin out.So it Won't fit buddy, I think most people buy aftermarket exhausts for the twin pipe look

good find!! i would like one of those, find a pic of a 318 back box and see if they look the same if there is a difference then any good exhaust fitted could get it to fit

i looked on the diagrams on realoem and there is a difference! they look like they use the same hangers the main thing it the joining pipe which looks longer on the 318 back box, which means the 323 pipe would need a piece welding in, any good exhaust fitter could do this. have a look on realoem for yourself mike
