    Hi all

Just bought a lovely Avus blue 1 owner touring. Love it! Manual aswell!

It needs a bit more go, I know the M50 conversion will be the best bet for it. I've already PM'd Alpina527.

    My questions are;

    - What power increase will be seen with the manifold/BBTB conversion?
    - Who is best to remap this after the conversion?
    - What power can be seen then?
    - I'll be looking to complete an inlet and exhaust - I usually slip in a panel filter, is there a better option here?
    - Which exhaust system is best to fit? I may have a genuine 328i back box somewhere in the garage.

    Cheers!

With all those mods it will still only be as quick a 328i so why didn't you just buy one in the fist place?
Then you have the choice of modding that if need be.

Dude if I could have found a 1 owner 328i Sport touring I would have, err, bought it.

323 will do for now. I was blown over by the condition and like I say, 1 owner, huge house, lived in a garage etc. I simply couldn't refuse it.

It's only going to be a daily driver to assist with duties. My other car is an Integra Type R that I have completely restored so it's on a classic policy.

I would be happy with 210HP or so. I have contacted Alpina527 about the manifold.

BMW Chip tune, that looks ideal. Was that with a 328i exhaust or not? How much do you charge for that?

    Thanks

He did have a different exhaust but whether it helped or not

We not normal see around 10-13 bhp gain after a remap

The 323i had a m50 manifold and we converted it with a few pipes and 90 degree bends for pipe work
No big bore throttle body (bbtb)used just the standard one

If you tune these 323i the same way as you would a 328i they don't make any more power top end
