    Hi All,

This is first post, so please excuse me if I have posted this question in the wrong forum section.

I have a 2004 E65 BMW 730i sport that I would like to put an aftermarket back box on.

What I am trying to achieve is not a super loud boy racer sound, but just a beefier deeper engine noise.

But again to stay away from that boy racer look, I would like the exhaust tip to remain hidden behind the back bumper like it is now.

Can anybody recommend a back box which would be easy fit and that would match all these goals?

    thanks for all replies

The big "main dealer" tuners like AC Schnitizer and Alpina would probably give you the sound you want, but they'd all come with trademark tailpipes on show.

Have a look and see if you have an exhaust flap fitted, this would be a little vacuum actuator on the back box. Unplugging that hose and capping it off might give you the extra sound you are after.

I agree with Theend, I think you will be happy with the exhaust note change if you can do the butterfly mod
