    Hello

I have a 318 Coupe 2004. I had 17" 7 spoke alloys on it which I just replaced with 18" MV1's. I removed the old alloys today and put the new ones on. However I have now noticed that the suspension on the off side rear wheel is very low. Id say the tyre is bout 2" to 3" up under the wheel arch. The rear wheel arch on the drivers side sits about 1" above the tyre so quite a difference. Does this sound like a busted shock? I have only driven about a 1000 miles on the car but havent noticed any issues with the ride.

Amy advice would be much appreciated?

    Cheers

shocks dont affect height, could be busted spring but camber of the road will show on how a car settles. make sure its parked on the flat and check it but my money is on broken spring

Not traditionally no, but gas pressure shocks do.

However, checking the pig tails on the springs is the first point of call
